Why Us?

Glass Images & Creations is a stained glass company deeply rooted in the Utah construction industry. With our expertise in combining artistic integrity with functionality, we can take care of all your specialty glass needs. Building the highest quality decorative glass products in Utah for over three decades, the quality and beauty of our work cannot be beat. If you want only the best and most qualified artisans working on your project come and see us. Take a look below at some of the reasons nobody does it better.

Utah's Harsh Climate

The ups and downs of Utah's weather are a concern for many contractors. Thermal pained windows are an important step in combating problems that arise with changes in temperature. Glass Images & Creations uses the highest quality of warm edge insulating products. Super Spacer® patented all-foamed design dramatically reduces condensation, and with a 3.03-R Value it keeps the cold-and heat-out of your home far better than metal spacers.  Super Spacer's all-foam formula stops the heat's escape path and provides one of the best thermal performances in the industry. It also keeps the heat out in the summer, so you can stay cool and keep energy costs down. Metal spacers tend to have condensation, and condensation can lead to bacteria and molds. It can also increase the likelihood of fungi, viruses, and mites that cause respiratory infections, allergies, and asthma. The spacer we use (as opposed to what other companies use) greatly reduces the amount of condensation. With Super Spacer, you will also gain an improved sound absorption over traditional metal spacers; we can help keep it quiet inside your home.

Experience

With artist and installers working in the glass industry since the early '70s, we have the experience and knowledge you need:

David Lynn

Dave has been working in the glass business for his whole life, well most of his whole life. The other part has been spent on the golf course, and some of it was spent on childhood. Designing windows for multiple temples and thousands of homes around the world, Dave is the "Bob Ross of Stained Glass,†but without the afro, and he's still alive.

Andrew Kosorok

With a Masters of Fine Arts in sculptural stained glass from BYU, as well as degrees in alchemy and theosophy, Andy has been designing and building stained glass structures for over twenty years and is now the stained glass teacher at BYU. His art experience includes production of glass work in the Contemporary Reliquaries shows at both UNA in Flagstaff, Arizona, and BYU in 2007, a merit award at the 22nd Annual Spiritual and Religious Show at the Springville Art Museum, jurying the Glass Art Guild of Utah Spring 2008 show, and The Windows of Dzyan one person show at BYU. His work has also been in the 2004 Spirituality and Religious show at Historic Trinity Church in Detroit, Michigan, and he won Best Sculpture award for his window "Kiva of Snakes†in the 19th Annual Spiritual and Religious Art Exhibition held at the Springville Art Museum, 2004. Andy is the "Cliff Clavin†of our shop and can answer any of your questions, whether it's about glass fusing, Islam, or mummification.

Justin Lynn

Justin came out of the womb with a soldering iron in his hand. Sad to say, his mother did not make it, but his father raised him at the glass shop and it looks like that is where he will die. Since he has been here for so long, he is the one who everyone turns to if they need a question answered. Can we temper German New Antique? Ask Justin. How do we get this bevel cluster to look right in this shape of window? Ask Justin. How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Justin wouldn't know that, but ask him anyways. Usually when a contractor sends in a customer, they tell them to ask for Justin.

Luis Gomez

A second-generation Stained Glass artist, Luis was trained by his father Louie Gomez, former owner of Art Glass Specialties and a one-arm one-hand wonder (Luis said to write that). Luis owned a stained glass shop in St. George called Southwest Expressions, working with copper, custom rod iron, rocks, and even sandblasting wood. Luis is a creative genius. Want a remote control low-rider with hydraulics? Luis is your man.

Bill Jackman

Bill has worked with glass for well over thirty years. In the '70s and into the '80s, his studio produced hundreds of windows for homes all across Utah, and he taught stained glass at BYU for over 25 years. He has collaborated with several artists, including Robert Marshall (professional artist and professor at BYU) and Doug Soelberg. With his experience, he can take any idea and make it into a great window. So come on in with your bad ideas, and we'll fix it for you.

Neil Graff

Neil is a know-it-all, maybe a nicer way of saying that is, he knows everything about glass. He started his career a millennium ago with A-1 glass as an auto glass installer, as well as installing windows. After six years with A-1, he moved on to manage Diamond Glass for four years. Then he worked at Beehive Glass for four more years as an installer, doing European style shower doors, mirrors, and other complicated glass projects. He has installed many windows on temple projects, including a three-month stay in Brazil helping us complete the Campinas Brazil Temple. Neil is a perfectionist and will always make sure your showers and mirrors are done perfectly.

Judd Cox

Don't mess with Judd or his all-star hockey playing son will give you a high stick to the face. Judd has worked in the glass industry for over eighteen years. At Capital Glass, he was an insulator and a glass cutter. Then he moved on to Beehive Glass Company as a glass fabricator. He worked on drilling holes in glass, polishing and beveling edges, and every thing else. He is now our expert fabricator and can do anything you can think of with glass projects.

Lauren Wzorek

The only girl, don't you feel bad for her? It's not that we don't hire girls; it's just that she is the only one who has been able to put up with us. She started at Art Glass of San Diego-in where else but San Diego. With a wide variety of art experience, most of her time during college was spent in art rooms. In addition to glass, she designs wearable art and is an animator. If you don't want a man designing the windows for your arts and crafts room, she'll be here to help.

Ian Pineck

What can you say about Ian? If he tells you he is going to do something, he will actually do it. That is a pretty good quality, eh? He's a pretty awesome sandblaster too. Making etched pantry doors in a matter of seconds and turning out sandblasted aspen trees in milliseconds, your project should be done next week. He left us for a short while to install shower doors for Designer Marble, but he couldn't resist the dust in the sandblasting room. If you want it done right and on time, Ian will take care of you.

Jerry Lynn

A boy with a girl's name, 2nd greatest delivery boy ever, behind Doug Heffernan, he can controll his road rage most of the time.
